As of May 22 (with LisaLCfan), we started to 'cheat' a little and allowed ourselves 2 picks from every album. Still, extremely difficult to choose only 2.

I bet our choices would change somewhat if we were to list our favorite 22 songs (the count if choosing 2 songs from every album). Some albums may get only 1 or maybe no choices, while others would have more than 2.

Thanks to John for this thread; it's a relief to get back to LC 's music after all the recent controversies ! I think it's a pity people started putting in 2 favourites from each album; part of the exercise is to HAVE to choose; there are several albums from which I would happily choose 3 or 4 or more.... ! I have included the 4 Live albums I possess, however, because "Field Commander Cohen " is my favourite album, with my favourite version of "The Window" on it, and there is no way I could have a list of LC favourites without "The Window" ! I HATED to have to omit Famous Blue Raincoat, The Traitor, and Hey, That's no way to say Goodbye !

Yes, Holydove, I know what you mean about choosing just one being painful ! I understand now why Lisa and others chose two; if I was posting my list again I would just HAVE to include both Famous Blue Raincoat and Joan of Arc from Songs of Love and Hate. (Strangely enough, Avalanche, which so many people choose, doesn't appeal to me - yet, anyway .) But, as others have pointed out, our lists might be quite different in the future!
