John McKenna on Leonard on RTE Radio Monday

Post by jdhayes » Sun Oct 26, 2014 2:35 pm

John Mckenna will be presenting a programme on Leonard on RTE Radio 1 tomorrow at 14.15. The programme will include Leonard's version of "Kevin Barry" recorded sometime in the Seventies. That song is also available on Youtube. Happy listening! Adam was on RTE this morning on the Miriam O'Callaghan show. He sang a song an did a short interview. He was on at about 10. 26 am

Such a lovely programme!
John McKenna is a genuine, long standing lover of LC's music.
His choice of just 9 songs from LC's catalogue was admirable - especially as it included favourites of mine like "Alexandra Leaving " and "Nightingale" :D

Each song was played in full, of course, until someone cut off the final song, "You got me singing", to make way for the ads.! A pity.

Well worth hearing on Player if you missed it.
Ring the bells that still can ring...
