Judy Collins performs "Suzanne" - 59th GRAMMYs

Post by I'm your fan »

I don't know if this topic has already been covered, but Judy Collins performed "Suzanne" at the 59th edition of the GRAMMYs. Great performance, with Collins telling the audience how she first met Leonard Cohen fifty years ago.
Transcription of Judy Collins Speech: "An honour to be here, thank you, Margaret [the ceremony was hosted by the comedian Margaret Cho]. I wanted to say thank you to the GRAMMY Foundation and for all the work the GRAMMY has done for all of us. And I wanted to tell you how I met Leonard sixty... Fifty years ago. He came into my living room and he said... He said: "I can play the guitar, and I can sing... And I don't know if this is a song". And then, he sang me this:" [She performs "Suzanne" at the piano:] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiM23iff5lk
