The tickets are purchased through Evenko http://www.evenko.ca/en/show/event/leonard-cohen-6304. You will need the password to buy tickets. Evenko does not allow you to set up a permanent account; you provide your name, address, and credit card information at the time of purchase.

Thanks so much. That really helps to know. I've never directly purchased tickets for venues in other countries so I wasn't sure what to expect. I took a peek at the Copenhagen venue but ran into the Danish language so I wondered how fans bought those who don't speak Danish, etc. Again, thanks. Barb

The link above is presumably the one that will be used for the public onsale.
In our first presale to Montreal the tickets were sold by https://wroom.centrebell.ca

We don't have the presale link yet.

The link in the first presale took us to the Evenko page. The Bell Centre uses Evenko. Barb I would suggest you practise on the Evenko site so you are familiar with the layout as it is very different to Ticketmaster.

Yes, as musicmania says, the link with wroom.centrebell.ca is really just Evenko. When the public sale starts, the Evenko website (link above) will have a Tickets button, and if you click it, it will take you to wroom.centrebell.ca. The "wroom" presumably refers to "waiting room" as Evenko places everybody in a virtual waiting room at the start of a sale. People are then randomly drawn out of the waiting room to be given a chance to purchase tickets. Curiously, at the start of the first presale, there was no waiting time at all (perhaps there were only a relatively small number of people trying to buy tickets at the presale, as I know that some presales with other artists have required a bit of waiting). The public sale for Leonard Cohen did involve a brief wait in the waiting room when I tested it out. A few minutes after the initial rush, however, I was able to start the ticket buying sequence directly, without any waiting.

BTW, the tickets offered at the public sale were much worse for the floor section compared to the presale. In the stands sections (the REDS), the offerings in the presale were also better than in the public sale; nonetheless, there were still some very nice seats to be found in the REDS at the start of the public sale.

Bell Centre is the best place in the entire world. For hockey. Unfortunately, when it comes to this tour, Boston wins big time...

I'm no great fan of hockey arenas - Halifax Metro Centre has to rank as one of the worst venues I have ever been to - but I have seen Leonard perform in several different arenas around the world over the 2008-10 tour and the sound is always excellent. If only all touring bands had the same attention to detail where sound is concerned! To be honest, once the show is under way, it doesn't much matter to me whether I'm sitting in a small theatre or a large arena. I'm just lost in the moment .......

I have seen Mr. Cohen play at the Wang Theatre, and, as one would expect, the show was sublime. The Wang is indeed a lovely venue, so I am certain that Boston will prove a great choice if that is the one concert you choose to attend. But I am in fact really looking forward to the show at the Bell Centre, in no small part because LC will be playing to a large crowd in a town that feels an enormous appreciation for him. I was lucky enough to have seen LC play at Madison Square Garden in New York, another city in which LC is especially well loved and admired. The atmosphere of this huge show created an electrifying connection between the man and his audience, and it has left a very deep impression in my memory. The Montreal audiences at the Place des Arts shows in 2008 were as intense and as appreciative as the one in New York. Although I am normally dubious about the idea of music in big arenas, in this case I believe that there is significant potential for the hometown shows to become something extra special. (And the presales have been so good to forum members that anyone here attending the concerts is likely to have a very nice seat. :D )
