How did you enjoy your first Leonard Live experience Roman?

I heard Anyhow at one of the Ghent soundchecks. It's interesting to hear that they're still working on it. Maybe it will find its way in to the setlist show sometime soon.

Was bicycling past Sonera around 2:30 and heard parts of BIrd On A Wire and a what sounded like a vocal soundcheck. About to head over to the concert. First Cohen since Glastonbury in 2008. Excited!

Wendy, I'm still wordless.

On soundcheck. Tower of Song started at about 15:15 - 15:20, I suppose. I've missed a couple of songs after it, but I was said that it were Night Comes On and Avalanche(s).

SETLIST. The same as in Gothenburg, with two extra songs:
Waiting for the Miracle, after In My Secret Life,
Different Sides, after Famous Blue Raincoat.

I had no idea it was your birthday Roman - what a wonderful birthday present to yourself! A belated happy birthday to you. I am delighted to have spent it with you.

Roman has already commented on the setlist so I'll just add that Leonard closed the show by saying that, before he went, he wanted to pay a very special tribute to a man from the city of Helsinki who, in the dark days of the mid 1990s when things "weren't going so well" for him, had set up a website called the Leonard Cohen Files which kept Leonard's music alive in those dark days. A well deserved tribute to our friend and "leader" Jarkko Arjatsalo and his family (Eija and Rauli also got mentioned by name!)

Just a quick visit to the Forum (we still have plenty of members here) to post the official setlist.
a full size scan is at http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com/helsin ... t-2012.jpg for you to print!
(Leonard made some changes on stage, and there was a curfew at 22.45 so the last song was not played.)

Thank you, FRIENDS :-)

Can't type a setlist in the related thread due to circumstances, but I believe anyone can do that, basing it on Aug 31 setlist, few notes listed above here, and this one -

Closing Time had a Never Got to Love You ending

I wanted to write something but turns out there are no words for the many emotions that I feel :) But I'll try.

This was my first LC concert and I have to say I felt like a baby there, being 20 years old :D But the crowd was great, I really love coming to Helsinki to concerts because people are very polite and appreciative.
As for the show, it was fantastic. I can't believe it was 4 amazing hours, time flew by so quickly! It was overwhelming, just being there, in the moment. 'Hallelujah' literally had me in tears.

Thank you Leonard & thank you people for amazing experience!
First thing I did this morning was checking videos on my phone. I had to make sure I didn't just see everything in a cruel dream :D I'll try to upload them as soon as possible.
