According to Hop farm Festival, which is held in the end of June, "A Day At The Hop Farm will be presenting one-off shows for some major artists over the summer. Shows are held at The Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent."

From http://adayatthehopfarm.com/
We are very proud to announce a 2012 UK exclusive:
Leonard Cohen Live – A Day at The Hop Farm

This event will take place on Saturday 8th September 2012 at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, Kent, TN12 6PY.

Legendary Canadian songsmith Leonard Cohen has announced his only UK show will be at The Hop Farm in Kent in September 2012.

Taking place on Saturday 8th September as part of his world tour, the exclusive show will be Cohen’s only UK date in 2012. The crowd will be treated to an ambitious set stretching to over three hours of the artist’s classic songs, selected rarities and showcasing new tracks from his No. 1 selling album – “Old Ideas”.

The show will take place at the Hop Farm venue in Kent, home to the Hop Farm Music Festival, which takes place earlier in the year in June.

Vince Power said: “To get the opportunity to bring Leonard Cohen to the UK for his only appearance this year is a fantastic and humbling achievement. He is one of the undisputed forefathers of modern folk music and has honed his craft for nearly half a century. We’re over the moon he’s decided to join us for what will be a truly memorable experience.”

A Day at The Hop Farm with Leonard Cohen will be an open air, seated event.

Members of Leonard Cohen’s fan club have the opportunity to purchase advance tickets from 9am on Thursday 12th April. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 9am on Friday 13th April.
Seated tickets cost £85.00 and Standing £65.00.

Tickets available through eventim.co.uk 0844 249 1000 and other agents.

Not the concert many of his UK fans expected, I suspect. Hopefully, more will be announced at a later date. A third concert was announced for Dublin before any announcement for the UK. I find this odd.

I guess it's simply that Jarkko can't post any details till he gets them from AEG.

I saw Dylan at Hop Farm a couple of years ago, a nice place, but would have preferred an indoor venue.

I am in Amsterdam and not online all the time.
Email from AEG some moments ago say that this
concert is not yet approved for announcement.
Will come back with details when available.

Yes, but we all knew it was going to be outdoor.. All these speculations about RAH, Manchester Opera, etc were just wishful thinking unfortunately.

PS Wow, AEG is well behind on this. Can't really imagine how this announcement will be retracted after ALL the media has reported it here.

That'll be a nice home-coming for Hattie & Charley, & their family.
Well, Ted, as I said last time, it won't happen again.
