Julie and her son

Since I'm not sure how many of you are on Julie Christensen's mail list, I am copying her latest message here. I thought all would like to see her status update and request for support for her son, Magnus, and his SUNY film project. I very much look forward to seeing the film! Be sure and follow the link in Julie's message for movie trailer and funding appeal.

Hi Friends,
I hope this season is treating you kindly, and that you are cozy and among good friends. We are really enjoying our new home in Nashville!
Some of you may have been contacted about our son Magnus Jackson Diehl's Junior Thesis film fundraiser on indiegogo. And some of you may have already chipped in. Thank you! The working title is "Sal and the Goon," and my husband John Diehl is going to play "the Goon." It's a good story, and we're pretty proud of the good work Magnus has been doing at SUNY Purchase in their great film conservatory.
I know that in this new "DIY" entertainment business climate you get a lot of requests like this. We just ask that you take a moment to check it out on Indiegogo and also share it with your friends. There are some interesting perks; you can make a contribution, or simply follow updates and spread the word.(That really helps!) If enough of us get behind it, we can make 'Sal and the Goon: working title' happen! We are scheduled to shoot in New Mexico early in the new year.
Here's the link. Enjoy.
