maybe i like it better this way!

let's get our ears prepared for what the two masters have to tell us! :-)

i'd hope there'll be a record called "final songs" someday (and believe me: it's now because i made up this title! ;-) )
but of course you're right: "old ideas" sounds terrific. and that's just the name of the record!

btw, the names of the new tom waits songs show great promise too! ;-)
thanks for the video - you're my firing squad, joe! ;-)
yes, i'll better stop talking about tw before anyone comes up saying
"go away, you rainsnout!" or singing me the "final songs"! ;-)

Ha, Ha - I feel the same, quite weak in fact. Not one but possibly two new albums AND a tour by the rather delicious Adam AND he's coming to my home city.

One day and four pages later... have we been waiting or what!?!

YaY, Leonard!
You did it and in record time, it would seem.

I'm so very much looking forward to listening.

Thank you to Leonard Cohen for sharing this very exciting & joyous plan with us, & thank you to Jarkko for posting it!! You have lifted our spirits higher than we dared imagine (though some of us were, in fact, brazen enough to imagine it)!! I am now giddily laughing & shaking with ecstatic anticipation. . .thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Editing: I was just thinking "My Oh My!!" about all this wonderful news, & I wondered whatever happened to that song. The little we heard of it was quite enticing, to say the least, & I wonder if that song will be on the next, or the next next, album!!

As if we weren't blessed enough with an embarrassment of riches. Thank you, Leonard.

This is the best one, was I read today, the new CD to Spring 2012, with the song Darkness, my favorite for ever. And the other new songs, such as Born in Chains, will be the next Album :D :D
Thanks Jarkko and Mr. Cohen for this fantastic news. You make your fans around the world so happy. :D
