Party Songs - Leonard Cohen?

Postby ScottM » Thu Nov 30, 2017 1:59 pm

My company has put out a survey to allow the employees to influence the play list at our annual end of year celebration. Basically the most popular choices will be played on the night to thousands of revellers enjoying themselves at the company's expense.

I have forwarded my choice of songs to the organisers. I am hopeful that I will receive additional support from colleagues. What do you think my chances are of hearing these played? .... Ever hopeful!

End of Year Celebration 2017

It’s your party – so let’s have your playlist:

Now that we know you’re coming to celebrate, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to dance to music you like, so let us know your three favourite songs and who sung them and we will add them to the party playlist…

Light as the breeze

You Want it Darker

Thank you for letting us know what music you’d like to dance to…we hope you have a great time!

If you ever hear those songs at a "celebration" you are wearing headphones. :D

I can't help it, I have to say it: "you must be fun at parties!".

Perhaps you might wish to consider 'Queen Victoria' as a way to get everyone onto the dance floor if things need livening up even more.
