http://1heckofaguy.com/2012/05/03/2012- ... our-dates/ - An indication now of an Australian visit and the world tour will be complete. It is really fantastic to see Leonard Cohen touring again this year and I am looking forward to seeing him in Dublin.

It is a pity that Leonard Cohen is not making it back to Lissadell this year as it is a place very close to his heart.

Not a pity for the rest of us, really. Let them sort out their own sordid squabbles in Sligo. Kilmainham is much more accessible from most parts of Ireland, and for our friends from abroad.

My sincere apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my confirming further tour dates here when they have already been confirmed on the Forum and I know will continue to be. I will refrain from further posts of this nature here.

Now that we are on the eve of the commencement of the 'Old Ideas 2012' and the question I posed back in November 2011 has been answered I would like to take this opportunity to wish Mr. Cohen, The Band and all connected with the Tour well and I know all of us fans will enjoy the forthcoming concerts enormously. To those going to Ghent tomorrow for the opening concert safe travels and I look for ward to your reports as I do the reviews afterwards. I myself look forward to Dublin.
