I got a lot of requests to copy the Dortmund concert. I was thinking maybe it would be better then to start a vine like we did for the sligo concert. Not sure which thread it was in, so I will start it in the Leonard cohens music thread if that is ok. Sorry i cannot copy it for you all myself but this pc is so damn slow it would take till christmas for me to complete them as there are 3 discs for the concert. I will copy it for the first person that asks me on that thread , they cam pm me their address and then when they receive it, they can copy it for the next person etc etc.

Hope you are all ok with this

Tinders

Hi danny ( or is it Chris?).............

Thanks a million for the videos. Especially glad you taped Hey that's no way to say goodbye.

I was just a few feet from Leonard when he sang that one and I was really thrilled.

if that was my last time to see him, I could not have asked for a better song to end on.

Great concert indeed.

By the way... i started a vine for the cds of the whole concert, if you want to join it then you will be on the list to receive them. I am posting off the cds tomorrow to Florian, the first person on the list.

Im Chris;)
Danny is this fine gentleman here:

(and my favourite musician in general)

My girlfriend taped the last few songs...I was standing behind 2 or 3 persons in front of Leonard and made the pictures...
I will be uploading 2 other videos soon!

Thanks!

HI Chris,

Have loved all your videos and photos, glad you were at the same concert as me.

I googled Danny, wow, it is rare to find a drummer as someones fave musician, but he seems really good. Of course I have always had a soft spot for Leonards Prince of Precision too :)

Just reading some of the thread again and 425-17 asked for the lyrics Leonard recited at the start of Born in Chains.

And all the kisses that we kissed that swept me to the shore
of seas where hardly I exist
except to kiss you more

What words. No wonder women were hypnotised by him all his life

For anyone that was interested in getting the Dortmund concert on cd, i started a vine on the collectors and traders corner. I made the cds and posted them to Florian, so if you contact him by pm and ask who was next on the vine etc they will copy it for whoever wants it. It worked a treat on the Sligo thread so hope it works for the Dortmund concert cds too

They are really excellent quality and his version of Born in Chains and Avalanche are superb

@tinderella

Danny Carey is a sick man....master of polyrhythmics with amazing skills and definitely one of the most creative heads in the drums-area.
As a drummer myself, absolutely my hero!Tool, with no doubt,my favourite band....

Ok..its not really music, that has anything to do with Leonard,..but....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH7iLEufFdA
