What an amazing concert it was. Though Malmö was my first time seeing the man, nothing can replace that - but Odense was amazing! There is a huge difference in sitting in a seat and a whole other thing standing beside thousands of people who from time to time sing along, or close their eyes and just sway to the music - a few even getting all misty eyed.
Cohen and the band were just brilliant and the surrounding of the stage just perfect. The trees, the fresh air. My favorite moment was just as the sun was going down, 10 birds flew over the stage in a V-shaped form...it was pure utopia.

Here is one of the pics I took - the quality is exeptionally bad as my paretns camera is way past its bedtime - as you see not even the date is right, but this picture I really think nailed it.

Thanks for another great experiance Mr. Cohen - here's for more to come.

Anyone knows the music that was played over the PA before the show, and I think also in the break? Really groovy stuff.

I think they play a CD of Roderigo y Gabriella over the PA before the show. There was other music that I hadn't heard before in Sligo so this may not be the correct answer to your question. Try this link http://www.rodgab.com/home.html

They were at Glastonbury this year, I didn't see their show on the main stage on tv but the BBC had them as guests on their own acoustic set (unfortunately the BBC don't make this available on YouTube which is a shame). They were superb.

Incidentally, Judy Collins also was a guest on the BBC acoustic set. I was so impressed, usually as people get older their voices change but her voice was amazingly pure, no deterioration that I could detect.

They settled in Dublin and Cork for a while and did a lot of gigs here but now they are on to bigger and better things. :D They are very talented. They recently played Red Rocks, LC played there last year.
