Sorry there was not texting or twittering last night, for me it was an unbelieveably intense concert and it didn't end til after 1am! Then there was a lot of trying to decide how to get to somewhere with liquid refreshments etc etc!

Wonderful concert, will write a bit more tomorrow probably. Shattered tired still.
Great job! Enjoyed all your videos! Loved the "before the concert"

Breithlá Shona Leonard - wish I could have been in Barcelone but was lucky to see you in Dublin - my first time ever but hopefully not my last. Thank you for your music, your words, your books. You have cheered me up, made me stop and think, and now finally i know what music does to people and why it means so much. Came from a big family with their own music tastes that were not forced on me but being the youngest had no choice and basically turned my back on it. Love Bob Dylan (but he's really my brother's idol) and a few more but then i discovered Leonard and he's mine - all mine and now i understand.....................................Am I making sense? anyway go raibh míle

Dear friends,

Am I the only one with tears rushing down the cheeks while reading these fabulous reports, and details, and watching the “you tubes”? I am experiencing an “Avalanche” of emotions – infinite love, pride, happiness, and yes, relief …
“A Thousand Kisses Deep” to all of you who attended this wonderful concert celebration in Barcelona and have taken a few minutes to share your amazing memories with all of us who were there only in spirit!

Have just uploaded Suzanne - I'm afraid it's a bit shaky (I'm no IrishAl), but you can see the candles about 1 minute in:

Just back -- wonderful concert; great events and Leonard at the end said something like 'I want to thank all the members of the forum' ... many more pictures to come but just this one as a taster ...

Where do we talk about the tribute concert by Jorcx at the Sala Vivaldi on the Sunday night?

Jorcx is very talented and must love this hard work - to be able to sing so many of Leonard´s songs in Catalan as well as perfect English - I hope one day he is introduced to Leonard.

Thankyou Jorx, it is nice to know that Leonard´s lyrics and music is made more accessible to Spanish people by your study and interpretations 8)

Thankyou for the free concert :)

You're not alone, Lumi! After just watching the Suzanne clip with all the candles, the tears are flowing! (Thanks for sharing that with us, somewhat_nifty, that was so beautiful!) I was definitely there in spirit yesterday, all I could think about was how Leonard was doing, and how the concert was going. I am so happy to see Leonard in perfect form, perfect sound, everything perfect! (I love you, Leonard!)

Leonard, thanks for the trouble you took.

Thanks so much, burningviolin. These were great to watch. Wonderful footage of Dino in I tried to Leave You.
Looking forward to IrishAl's videos (impatiently!), but yours were a great beginning.

Amazing concert, probably our last (however young Leonard is working hard to convince me that we should go to New York), and good to talk to Frank Brown from the forum.

How we ended up in the Zona Franca afterwards at 2am is still a mystery, but got back to hotel safe thanks to Barcelona's un-paralleled transport system.

Now back in England, and words are not coming easily tonight - it was just great but its hard to think it could be the last

True, vaughan - and maybe, instead of words, a picture I took at the concert - my favourite: Leonard looking at the birthday candles, lit by the forum members...
Some more to follow tomorrow!

Hi Ann,

What an incredible photo! I think it was somewhat_nifty (aka Messalina) who captured the candles on video. How very very moving. Every time I look at this, tears flow. Dino mentioned that he got a little teary-eyed with the candles, and I have a feeling possibly everyone on stage did.....plus everyone in the audience, and ALL of us in the distance who were not able to be there. Between Leonard's birthday, the last concert in Europe, the 100's of Forum members in attendance, and all the extras...lunch..tribute concerts..birthday cakes...etc etc etc...I am blown away by all the energy and love.

So good to hear from you, and you must know that a special "someone" has been on Skype withdrawal. However, I'm sure lost time will be made up soon! ;-) 8) :D

Get some rest!
