I arrive in Berlin on the night-train from Krakow at 0830 1 July and am staying at the Junckers. I personally would like to meet-up during the afternoon of 2 July, before the concert. As I have a full day's sightseeing to pack in on 3 July before flying home on 4 July, I don't intend to stay up late after the concert.

My wife and I will be coming to Berlin and like the idea of meeting at the Cafe after the concert.

It is Cafe Via Nova I in Revaler Strasse that is close to the O 2. I ve just called them and made a reservation for 11 pm for 10 - 15 people. Is that ok with you or would you prefer a meetup before the concert there? I can easily call them again tomorrow. Just let me know.

I would prefer a meet up before the gig so we all can share the anticipation; around 5 pm would be perfect as I have to work that day. But an after show meetup would be ok as well. Or even both...

I haven't heard about that Trattoria but I think we should give it a try. Why not meet there at 17.00 and at the Via Nova after the concert? So we should leave that reservation standing. It will be nice to talk about the concert and meet like minded people afterwards.
I think for a meet up at 17.00 we won't need to make a reservation but I would make one if requested.
So who would be interested? Just asking in order to see if a reservation is necessary or not.
Very much looking forward to seeing some new and some already known faces there

Fine, if I can manage it in time I'll try to trott to the trattoria at 5 p.m. And if the concert gives me a vita nova, I'll try to find the via to the Via Nova. Probably all of you will be easy to recognize by the tears in your eyes ...

Great, so we will meet before and after the concert with some of us just going to one of the meet ups.
Just to be sure I will call the trattoria and make a reservation under the name of 'Cohen Group'. I will try to be there shortly before 5 pm.
To everyone going to the meet ups and/or the concert tomorrow: Public transport is quite a bit delayed this week, especially the Berlin overground so please allow a few extra minutes for your journeys within the city.

Okay. Save a place for me at both the Trattoria before and Via Nova after.
I have just reached the Junckers (11.30am 1 July) after a strange overnight train journey from Krakow to Berlin, at the end of which I found myself dumped at some minor northern station instead of a major terminus. I am now waiting for the room to be cleaned by having a beer in the internet bar across the road. €1.90 for 0.3l of indifferent beer? How I wish I was back in Poland where the beer was half the price and twice as good.
