There are some wonderful pictures included at that blog. Here is one:

Here's a webcam shot of yesterday's soundcheck. In all the other images I saw during the soundcheck it was cloudy. This is the only one with the stage in sunlight.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful pictures! :D And Brightnow for the time lapse. I watched it several times. :D Those of you who were able to be there were fortunate indeed. What a spectacular venue!

My best,
Eve

Thank you so much for this. Here is what I think. I think it is wonderful!! And thanks for doing it as a "thank you" on behalf of his fans. I just posted it on Leonard Cohen's FaceBook page.

The setlist is missing I Tried to Leave You.

I'm glad to hear some of you out-of-towners got to stay long enough to see the concert. Red Rocks is a fantastic venue but it would have been not much fun for any of us with the weather on Tuesday.

bridger15 asked:
Can anyone tell us about Leonard's closing words last night, his Four Priestly Blessings at the end of the concert?
Here ya go:

Don't catch a cold.
It's tricky & it's hellish, but try to be kind.
May you be surrounded by friends and family,
and if this is not your lot, may the blessings find you in your solitude.

Thanks, Pomona. I love the way he concludes each show by showing how much he cares for his loyal fans. I am sorry I did not start collecting these invocations earlier. I did not clue in to what he was actually doing until after I had seen him repeat variations of this four line ritual several times. Perhaps we could call upon the Forum's wonderful, supreme chronicler, Maarten, to open a thread called, "Please Post the Concert Four Priestly Blessings Here"

It goes like this (Red Rocks Blessings):
1. The weather is kind of tricky, SO DON”T CATCH A COLD inside and out
2. And I know is tricky and even hellish, SO BE KIND
3. And MAY YOU BE SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS AND FAMILY
4. And if this is not your lot MAY THE BLESSINGS FIND YOU IN YOUR SOLITUDE
5. THANK YOU FRIENDS, THANK YOU

Than you so much, Roman. Beautifully formatted to simulate the blessing structure.

Dear Brightnow ~

Thank you for your amazingly creative and deeply thoughtful gift for all of us and for Leonard and his band. I simply sat and cried as I watched, starting with the venue just beginning to fill. After intermission, I thought to look back and up, and Red Rocks looked filled to the brim. Your video creation summons so many layers of emotion for me. I cannot remember seeing Leonard look so happy, so much, as I saw him look, repeatedly, throughout this concert... pure joy.

~ Lizzy

[I posted that ~ minus my name ~ on the YouTube comments, but not sure if it actually came through. Sometimes it just doesn't; my computer no doubt. I Favorited it and rated it Six. This concert was pure joy for Leonard and all of us... but no room left there to add the "and all of us" aspect.]
