THE PROMISED LAND HAS ARRIVED!

Post by Partisan » Tue May 22, 2007 10:22 pm

Oh fellow users, the time has come to rejoice, for I have found a land of milk and honey. For too long we have struggled, Jarkko has ceaselessly toiled, and many of our number did not make it at all. But at last our destination hoves in to view. I speak of course of

At last Jarrko can rest. This is a place free from the shackles of keeping various conflicting interests happy.
So, come one, come all to the happiest place on God's green cyberspace.
Peace and love, my friends.

Even the Garden of Eden started with two people. From tiny acorns mighty oaks may grow.

Very peculiar. I tried to enter the promised land and found out that my identity as Young dr. Freud has been usurped. Whoever has usurped it---wear it in good health. And don't let me down.

And all that time I thought you weren't responding to me, because you had fallen in love with someone else. Now, I understand that you've fallen for *mark*. Hmmm. Life is strange in the promised land. It promises many things, but delivers not.

What I like is the brevity of the postings.

YdF,

Well - is you is, or is you ain't my baby? My message sat over there for daaaaays, without your usual, caustic albeit casual quips. Now, here you are. Which is pretty much what I said over there, until I got the notif. that my message was never delivered. Now, how could that be?

When you make up your mind upon which patio you intend to sit, I have white wine, guacamole and and tortilla chips (I thought it might rain). They only have something called milky tea, and coleslaw. Please, hon, be reasonable... so looking forward to your response to end these ugly rumours. Or is that rumors?

At your leisure, (but don't take too friggin' long),
Linda of the big, brown eyes.

Absolutely, positively, it's not me. I have been reliably informed that the usurper has even copied my profile word for word from the Files. I don't know why anyone would want to be me. It's generally not very pleasant.

Dear Linda,

The Files will be my primary roost. Perhaps, I will join the other site and use it for R and R. The milky tea and coleslaw don't sound that appetizing though.

To the contrary...

I have found your input very pleasant indeed.

Funny thing, this usurper has taken the trouble to reside in the same US State. What are the odds?

What are the odds that your sleuthing skills in this matter are even more abysmal then they were in Tyshgate.

Methinks p. maybe on to something here...seems to me YdF is not upset enough about having his (or her for that matter) identity usurped. He (or she) is almost glad to having the crown of thorns lifted and the not have to carry the weight of....well being YdF. When he (or she) clearly enjoys being YdF. No, there are wheels within wheels at work here. How's that for sleuthing skills? (yes yes thanks for all the applause)

p.s. 'Tyshgate' is good BTW. And the subsequent attempt at recovery/damage control by p. is as good as any I've seen from Tysh herself.
