Harald Weinrauch has passed away

Post by Henning » Thu Dec 10, 2020 2:09 pm

It's with great sorrow to announce that Harald Weinrauch passed away last Saturday. Those who joined the gatherings knew him as a witty and helpful friend. He was quite a character and it is hard to learn that he won't attend our events any more. RIP, Harald !

This is such sad news...
When I think of Harald, I always see him as a witty, clever guy who was kind and had a warm heart. He will be sorely missed in our community and by his friends, family and Regina in particular, of course. Thinking of her and wishing her lots of strength in this difficult time.

Rest gently, friend of mine...

(and thank you Henning for posting this here, much appreciated)

So sad to hear that we have lost Harald. He was a regular participant in our gatherings and Walking Weekends for many years. Always in high spirits and ready to communicate with everybody!
The photo is from Viladrau and was shot after we had conquered top of the mountain.
Great memories. Our thoughts are with you, Regina, and all who were close to Harald.

My wife Helen and I didn't know Harald as well as some of you but, on our many Cohen-related meet ups we always had a brief chat. A very engaging gentleman and a real character who always made us smile. Condolences to all who were close to him. He will be missed...RIP Harald.
