Very sad news indeed.

It was lovely to meet Dolores along the way and see her beaming smile.

My sympathy to her family and friends.

Those are the saddest news. Dolores will be badly missed but never forgotten. She was such a lovely person.

I am sure each and every one of us will carry her memory with him/her.

Thank you for letting us know about her passing. Although we all knew about her sorry state we were still hoping she could achieve a miracle and get to see Leonard once more.

How touching is Leonard 's statement. This must mean a lot to Dolores' family. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Goodbye Dolores.

Love from Caren and Hans

Anne & I are so deeply saddened by Dolores passing. Like others, we first met her in the harbor on Hydra with her hat with "Leonard Cohen" written on it. She helped me purchase an event T shirt and told me the difference between U.S. and Europe sizes.

We last saw her at the Krakow event and as we both arrived a little early-we were able to go around together and have dinner together on our first day there. As everyone has mentioned-she was so full of joy and love of life, she was unforgettable. We will miss her deeply, our sincere condolences go out to her husband and children.

I never met Dolores, but knew of her (from photos of meet ups and the gallery of Beautiful Losers) as part of the Old Guard – i.e. forum members that helped shape this community years before I joined. Despite the sadness that she's no longer with us, it is wonderful to read the special memories of Dolores written here. For Dolores, sleeping, and to her family and friends, here's the most comforting song I know... ... re=related

and who by fire, who by water,
who in the sunshine, who in the night time,
who by high ordeal, who by common trial,
who in your merry merry month of may,
who by very slow decay,
and who shall i say is calling?

dear dolores,
after many times you made me smile
i spend my tears for you,
please forgive me for beeing ignorant last time on hydra,
i didn´t understand that your health situation was so difficult
i thought it was just another crazy idea of you when we talked.....

This is indeed very sad news.
We first met Dolores in Hydra 2002 and we met her last in Krakow, she was an unique person and an unique Cohenfan.
She will be missed on future events by a lot of people.
Condoleances to her husband, children and family.

Poor Dolores. I don't know what to say. She was loved by everyone because of her happy and cheery disposition. She brought a smile to everyone's face and she brought out the best in everybody. She inspired such fondness and affection in people and was genuinely loved by all.

I have thought of her a lot these last few weeks and have been imagining what her family must have been going through. So sorry to have lost this beautiful and good, kind lady.

Rest in peace Dolores. My thoughts are with you and your family.

For Dolores' family: 'Come Healing'. Bea sent this to me recently and it meant so much.

I will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow, Dolores.

Lots of love

I’m so very sorry to hear of the loss of Dolores. I had the privilege of meeting her in Krakow in 2010 and again in Hydra last year. It was immediately evident to me what a wonderful, warm person she was and how very much she was loved and admired by the forum family. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

The deepest my sympathy to the relatives and also to all who feel of mourning, her friends, who had the pleasure to know her.

That song is V. A.Koskenniemi's poem.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dolores many times but my fondest memories of Dolores will always be on Hydra.....listening to a singsong while enjoying a pot a tea in the harbour.

Condolences to Ulrich and family,

Rest in Peace Dolores,
