aha.. so they did report - that means they did not go crazy.
Nevertheless, Leonard shouldn't take them to court.

I must say I did not get my card, today. However, when I looked in my mailbox, I saw a bent, shiny, larger-size card. For a split second, I felt a seizing in my stomach, immediately followed by a "but that's too large" thought. It was the same kind of paper as a postcard, however.

Yes, you're right, Ken ~ Eija truly is a star 8) :D ! That's a lot of writing, and the great thing about it is that all the cards have a uniformity to them, with her being the sole writer.

Recieving the Postcard

Post by linda_lakeside » Sat Sep 25, 2004 5:45 am

Being almost on the shores of the Pacific in Western Canada - I'm betting I'm dead last on rec'v the card. That is just the way my life seems to work!
And I'll tell you, life is in not sweet when you're at the mercy (?) of the Canadian Postal service.

Well ... It's the morning after the night before. My mouth tastes like a bears arse and I feel like a pig shat in my head ... However ... The postcard turned up this morning! Its unbelievable to think that you wrote all these by hand. A truely beautiful creation.

One card arrived this morning!!
I had ordered 2, so let's hope Monday brings the other.
Such a beautiful card!
Which side do I show in the frame? :?: :?:
Best to buy a double-glazed frame and swap sides each day!
Andrew.

Yes, I saw the photo of Eija's address to her husband on the card. Her penmanship is very elegant and regal, both so appropriate to this card and stamp.

I got MINE today!!!! I can't believe I got it so soon.

I'm in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA!!!! Wow! I'm very impressed by how quickly it arrived.

It's a GREAT picture of Leonard!!! I love it!!!

Unfortunately, mine has a rather deep scratch in it from having gone through the postal system. However, at least the scratch is NOT going through Leonard's picture.

I did have a pretty strong feeling that this might happen to some of the postcards, and wouldn't you know, it happened to ME!!!!

Despite the scratch, I LOVE this postcard!!!!!
A FANTASTIC job was done by EVERYONE involved.
