Hi Rachel,

No apology needed. It is important to remember that we are all suffering from a severe case of Cohenphilic Personality Disorder (as diagnosed by DrHGuy), one symptom of which is "is preoccupied with Cohen-centric questions"! :D

I concur.

And I see our time is up for today.

That will be $600 for the second opinion.

DrHGuy, Mollydog, & Irishmar,

Thank you for your patience & your responses.

DrHGuy, I should have known better than to question your information. After all, as our esteemed, expert shrink, you certainly understand, better than anyone, our need for the most exact and precise details regarding every aspect of the artistic output, personal history, family dynamics, writing process, work life, love life, physical characteristics, as well as location at all times, of Our Master. And yes, I realized that I went overtime in my session by causing you to do extra and unnecessary research, so I expected to see extra charges on my bill. . .

And Mollydog, yes, we must always be sensitive and understanding about the manifestation of each other's symptoms, as they make take different forms at different times. . .

(Little, however, in the way of analysis of style, musicology, interpretation, and such matters sullies this series of posts.) As I've (also cleverly) demonstrated in this thread, I am fully capable of screwing this up. Consequently, I would appreciate Forum members interested in these songs to check these posts and let me know if there are errors of commission or omission so that the final product is accurate. The first of these posts, focusing on "Lullaby" went online a few minutes ago at http://1heckofaguy.com/2009/11/19/three ... r-lullaby/

Posts on "The Darkness" and "Feels So Good" should appear in the next few days if my offspring cooperate.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Leonard is extremely excellent. I looked at the You Tube video from the San Jose, from November 13. In particular song I'm Your Man. These sexy moves that Leonard did, it was wonderful. It was fantastic. Wow. Oh, what I say. 8) ;-)

"The Darkness"
I have been listening to all the mp3 audio files that Allan Showalter converted from the videos in his post and noticed certain changes in the lyrics. Most notable, LC changed the "ruby cup" (Venice, Nashville) to "golden cup" (St Louis, Las Vegas, San Jose).

Venice
I caught the darkness from your little ruby cup
Nashville
I caught the darkness, baby, from your little ruby cup
St Louis, Las Vegas, San Jose
I caught the darkness from your little golden cup

Thanks, Allan, I don't know how you did your techno wizadry, but it is thrilling to listen to all the new songs all together. I burned a playlist of all your mp3 files for my car and listen to them over and over.
