Don't know if they have or not, Paula. Can't have too many of this fine man. He was so elegant, so distinguished, so gentle, and so humourous. I'm so glad you have this so I can now "Favourite" it.
Thanks.

That was lovely, thanks Paula. Congrats Leonard! What a beautiful man he is, I am reminded, once again. He's on the top floor of the Tower of Song. No wonder we are all desperate for a ticket.

Thanks Paula, that was a great video. Frankly I didn't know who Damien Rice was.
But more so, Leonard was, well...Leonard. And they loved him. They really, really did. It brought tears to my eyes. Really a beautiful tribute.

Hey!
In these 10 mins I have the videoclip, Lou reed and Leonard's talks... No Damien Rice's Hallelujah?

Here is the Damien Rice performance, which followed LC's speech: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaHdeNN_ee0
I guess the uploads are in parts because YouTube has a 10 minute limit. Even that long video that includes Lou Reed's and LC's speeches has a lot of Lou parts cut out of it. I wonder if anyone will upload the full intro...

You can still watch the Rock Hall on BestBuy.com
Now you can also pick which segment you want to watch. I just wish they had not left out the opening credits and photos. But I have it on tape. I'm going to try to put it on youtube.
The picture quality here is better than youtube

Re: HALL OF FAME VIDEO
Hi all, just watched the video and had to respond in some way:
Leonard, sweet Leonard
Your voice has persisted in my life
Like a tree in the backyard
Always there, always growing
Constant
Sometimes as a shield
Sometimes as a refuge
I know every gnarled rasp
I have climbed through your mysterious verse
I have contemplated the heavens through the vast canopy of your work
Your voice will still play sweetly for me
Long after you have turned to gold
Thank you for standing where you stood
And for sharing what you saw and felt
Leonard, sweet Leonard
Your voice has persisted in my life
Like a tree in the backyard
Always there, always growing
Constant
Sometimes as a shield
Sometimes as a refuge
I know every gnarled rasp
I have climbed through your mysterious verse
I have contemplated the heavens through the vast canopy of your work
Your voice will still play sweetly for me
Long after you have turned to gold
Thank you for standing where you stood
And for sharing what you saw and felt

Re: HALL OF FAME VIDEO
Thank you for this post. What a wonderful speech he gave - humility and humour.
Good to see Lou Reed too, still alive and well.

Thanks for the link Paula. Had tears in my eyes at one point, now I feel I have something to throw back at those who have laughed at my admiration for Cohen.
