Was waiting for a post on Oslo, had in mind to start one myself.
Does anyone know the time-schedule for the concert, it says 5 o'clock on the ticket, but does that mean that cohen enters then, or the support, or that the doors open?
In Norway it is often impossible to know when a concert starts, it can say 18 on the ticket, and the support starts at 21 and then the real concert start at 23. I hate concerts in Norway... Anyone who knows anything? It is important to me, because of my work.
And the stadium is "Bislett", not "Aliset" as it says on your "Tour" page.

My ticket says that the doors open at 5 o'clock. There are two guests first, Lillebjørn Nilsen and Shaun Bartlett (?). Don't know when Leonard enters, but don't think it will be before 7.30 or something. Just a guess.

I think this concert can be very special in different ways.
- Cohen used to live not far from Bislett stadium for a while, together with marianne and Axel jr
- Marianne lives not far away, will propably be at the show(?)
- Cohen is ekstremly popular in Norway, its one of the countries he sells most records
- It's Canadas national day
- I will be there

NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) have a bunch of links to Cohen today. It's all from NRK's archives. Lots of good stuff! Concert from Kalvøya 1985 is great. Enjoy.

Marianne protects her privacy carefully these days, though she did come back to Hydra a few years ago (Leonard has not been back since 1999)

Yes, it must be Anjani. Her style has changed... But I guess we all have changed since the 80's!

NRK's late night news covered the concert. Short clip from "Dance me to the end of love" and interview with Marianne Ihlen and Kari Hesthamar, who will publish a book later this year based on Marianne's story.

Welcome Fans in Oslo !
I ask for the report from the concert. In Norway are people sparing with their words ?
perhaps will be willing to describe one's impressions? I am reading all reports with the great interest and with emotions. Not everyone can be at a concert. It is wonderful, that you are writing, how it was.
I am greeting
