The YouTube shows a young man asking his girlfriend to marry him at the Dublin concert.
It looks like she accepted!.

That's a classic video Mikeaus - very romantic!
Speaking of which, I'm just back from Venice & saw a concert in Plazza San Marco of Elton John - good concert, fantastic open-air venue (no people walking about - sorry I just couldn't help myself saying this).
I just couldn't help thinking if Lenny had been there how many marriage proposals there would have been - hell, I would have proposed to my wife all over again.

+ potential concerts on 2nd and 3rd, but i suppose that's demand-contingent. Look on the Fall Tour subforum.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get on here.
I was lucky enough to be at two of the Dublin concerts - Sat & Sun - two nights I will never forget - Leonard & all on stage with him were terrific - see a few of my photo's below.
Hopefully 'The Point' will happen in December - fingers crossed....
Kind Regards, Joan.

The photos are very good but they're very small.
Could you not have brought a bigger camera?

The Berlin newspaper "Der Tagesspiegel" is looking back to the year 2008. One of the years's highlights was Leonards concert in Dublin (and Berlin)!
Rückblick 2008

Leonard Cohen, Dublin, 13. Juni 2008, Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

„I stepped into this empty church / I had nowhere else to go.“ Nachher werden wir – achttausend älter gewordene Pilger – auch diesen Vers hören, in dem Song „There ain’t no cure for love“.

Video was uploaded just last October - so I don't think this was posted in the thread -

For the show on Saturday, June 14, 2008

Includes Leonard's opening words to an enthusiastic audience -
"Let's not delay this thing any longer. Let's get started."
And an exploding bouquet of flowers thrown to the stage.
