Post by honeyrose »

Had an email from Ticketmaster the other day saying there is no supporting act at the Manchester concerts in England next week (17-20th June) and we should be in our seats by 7.30pm - Bars open from 6.30pm.

hey, qbera6 (funny signature), so did I , and got totally rained on for a while - but it was all worth it. He was amazing, smiling, sunny, gracious, funny, in great voice behind the green patterned neck scarf ... - I went with an Irish friend who had also attended June 14th in Dublin, and she said 15th was even better - better atmosphere, Lenny truly on form. Wonderful, wonderful. Am also, like you, going to see him in Manchester Wed nite (I live in London so I'm travelling about). Can't wait to see him again (and not get rained on).

Anyone know if there is a meet up place in Manchester before/after the show?? Would like to meet you if you have any ideas where (don't know Manchester). Me and my son are going up by train from London Wed lunchtime.

Before the Manchester shows some of us are meeting from about 5.00 onwards at the Deansgate pub on Deansgate, about 8 -10 minutes walk from the Opera House (in Quay Street) I believe food is served there up til 5.00pm so we will try try to be there before 5.00 ourselves

Dublin on 15th was just superb, despite the rain :D

Wow James T. What a great picture of Leonard. (Can't comment on yours since I have no basis of comparison, but you look very pleased). Love it !

going up wednesday from London...oooohh.
Sue - are you getting the 13.40 from Euston?
Hope to see some of you in the Deansgate...
I was in Montreal yesterday - for work - and visited Leonard's house.
Just hung out outside and thought I'll see you in Manchester in a couple of days...
hallelujah!
