Hello!
I'm sure a few people have already asked this question, but I am desperate to get hold of some tickets for the gig at Lykabettus Theatre in Athens. My folks live on Poros (nearby) and its my mothers 60th this june. I'm struggling to find something perfect to buy her, and 2 tickets to see leonard would certainly do the trick.
My folks are massive fans and being on poros they are a little bit isolated from the rest of the world. This would be a massive surprise.
Does anyone have any ideas about ticket release, best means of buying them etc.
Any help would be gratefully received.

There is now official confirmation from Didimusic, the main concert promoters here in Athens that, yes, Leonard will be playing Terravibe July 30, tickets, not on sale yet, will cost 50 and 95 euro.

Ο τραγουδιστής, συνθέτης και ποιητής Leonard Cohen, που έχει τόσο συνδέσει το όνομα του με την Ελλάδα -και ειδικότερα με την Ύδρα-, έρχεται για να μας χαρίσει μια μοναδική αξέχαστη βραδιά. Η επιστροφή του στη σκηνή είναι θέμα μεγάλης πίστης και αγάπης. Αγάπης που είχε στερήσει εδώ και πολύ καιρό από τους θαυμαστές του. Μετά από 15 ολόκληρα χρόνια, ο Cohen βγαίνει και πάλι στο δρόμο. Ξεκινά από την γενέθλια πόλη του, το Τορόντο, στις 6 Ιουνίου. Θα ταξιδέψουμε νοερά μαζί του μέχρι τον Ιούλιο. Ως τις 30 του μήνα, που θα τον συναντήσουμε στο Τerra Vibe Park.

Στη 50χρονη καριέρα του έχει κυκλοφορήσει 11 άλμπουμ και έχει χαρίσει στίχους και μουσικές σε πολλούς σπουδαίους καλλιτέχνες. Τα τραγούδια του Cohen μάγεψαν όχι μόνο το κοινό αλλά και τους U2, REM, Sting, Nick Cave, Johnny Cash και τόσους άλλους που τα έκαναν «δικά» τους με υπέροχα cover versions.

Στις 10 Μαρτίου μπήκε στο Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame και στην τελετή της απονομής ανακοίνωσε την νέα του παγκόσμια περιοδεία. Σχεδόν όλο το καλοκαίρι θα δώσει συναυλίες στην Ευρώπη, ενώ από τις πιο σημαντικές εμφανίσεις του στη Βρετανία είναι αυτές στα φεστιβάλ Glastonbury και Big Chill.

"Για πολλούς, αυτή η περιοδεία θα είναι η ευκαιρία μιας ζωής να δουν ζωντανά τον θρύλο που ακούει στο όνομα Leonard Cohen. Ο Cohen ηχογραφεί για την Sony/BMG. Συνεχίζει να δημιουργεί καινούριο υλικό που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει μέχρι το τέλος του έτους.

Τα εισιτήρια για τη συναυλία του θα ξεκινήσουν να προπωλούνται στις 23 Μαίου και οι τιμές τους θα ειναι:

Pl1: 95 euro, στην ειδική περιοχή αμφιθεατρικά αριστερά και δεξιά της σκηνής με δυνατότητα ειδικού parking δίπλα στο χώρο με αγορά 3 εισιτηρίων.

I added this concert to the schedule although it's not yet 100% confirmed by AEG Live. The local information posted here looks very reliable.

There are coaches that depart from Larissa train station in Athens to Terravibe park. You can contact Sunways Travel for more info http://www.sunways.gr/. Also, by train from Larissa train station to Sfendali station and then on foot..

Thanks for the info on Terravibe although talking with the people from tickethouse Athens (today, on the phone) I got info that they still count to have Cohen in Lycabetus Theatre !!?

I called Tickethouse today, they confirmed Terra Vibe and tickets will be available from this Monday.
