Indeed I did, fisher.
Had a nasty fall on Sunday aftrernoon and ended upon crutches - and I cannot lay the blame on alcohol.
But I was glad to have the comfort of the tour bus to get me back to the city centre and the sisters were sisters of mercy.
We had a lovely meal after the concert - the band and crew - and I left for home oin Monday morning.
I shall be hobbling to Manchester and London in due course.
Would love to have caught up with more of you but fate intervened.
Fisher - thank you for the kind remarks elsewhere, greatly appreciated.
God bless,
William

Read between the lines Fisher. Get real people to sign it
Re: Dublin, June 14-15 and now also 13!!!
fisher,
I shall be happy to sign your petition. We may disagree on politics but you're an honest man.
My niece went to school with the Webb girls, thus the connection.
But I am also acquainted with Leonard from his time in London in the faraway sixties.
Tinderella seems not to take anything outside the orbit of her own life as real but, as you and I know fisher, life goes on out there and with or without us!
I'm pleased that you enjoyed the concert.
I shall happily be in Belfast if you can get Leonard there - better still, I shall put in a word for you. I can't do better than that.
The strange thing is, tinderella will want to be there too. "Of ye of little faith."
God bless,
William

william i have rarely seen someone blow their own trumpet as much as you do, pride coming before a fall and all that , well it looks like it caught up with you, hope you did not fall too hard.

Sarah,
If I have been blowing my own trumpet, I apologise.
It has been common knowledge on this site that I have known Leonard for forty years plus.
I didn't realise that was "blowing my own trumpet."
The fact that the Webb girls went to school with my niece is hardly my fault either.
I find your reference to my fall a tad disparaging. Anyone having a fall in his/her seventies is glad not to have been badly injured.
Your day will come - in terms of reaching your seventies, I mean - and you'll know where I stand (or fall).
God bless,
William
