hi
i want to get a copy of energy of the slaves.
allot of independant sellers are lisiting it on amazon.co.uk- but i dont understand some are listing it as in good 2nd hand quailty for £0.48 & £1.50 and others say its of a similar quality and are listing it as £10.00 right up to £30.00.
Who should i trust, is there a better way to buy this book?
thanks,
woody
the energy of slaves
Most of world's used books shops are gathered around http://www.abebooks.co.uk - I got all my Cohen books from that place (and most of others I'm using for my studies).
There are 81 Energies, most of them very cheap (4-5 UK pounds, UK Jonathan Cape edition). I suggest you this one as it is cheapest original edition (McClelland's) in very good condition. I prefer the original editions, but Cape's also OK as it's Leonard's original spelling. (US editions have "corrected" British spelling to the American. Stuff like favourite/favorite, color/colour etc.)
