LC autograph auction on Allegro in Poland - a real one???
Here's a link:

translation of the first part:
"an autograph of the vocalist which I got during the concert in London in 2004"
Do you believe it's a real LC signature? I personally don't, it doesn't look like his signature.
Was there a concert in 2004 in London? Never heard of one...
I am really surprised,
Mirek
PS. Maybe there's another Leonard Cohen we haven't heard of yet?

OMG
. Thanks, Tom.
It looks like the forger got confused about whose name he even wanted to go with, Leonard's or Marshall McLuhan's
. Came out looking more like Len McLuhan than anything ~ and "Len" in an autograph?? Hmmm.....
Seems also to have gotten real confused about whether the slant 'should be 'straight up' with the L ~ or slant to the right ~ or slant to the left ~ he has some of each. Very little there at all that even resembles Leonard's slant. Pitiful attempt, actually.

On the merger of these two great people, two-for-the-price-of-one doesn't work in this circumstance... though he's obviously trying to run a blue-light special

Starting this again:
is this possibly the same, now migrated to Great Britain and "certified"?

I logged into my eBay account and sent this seller warm and short email that his signature is totally FAKE and invited him to see how the real signature loks like on The Leonard Cohen Files.
Did not add "so yo could fake it beter". Maybe the seller simply
know not what he do. (Or something like that:-)

Interesting... The seller The Stanley Gibbons group are a exceedingly well respected company who have been around for absolute years. They are world renowned for dealing in stamps and have published a huge volume of books devoted to the same. It would seem that they've since moved into other collectables. It would seem however, they should reconsider who "certifies" their signatures. . .
