There is a vine to distribute a recording of Sligo here

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22670

or you can download the tracks here.

http://www.megaupload.com/?f=X3YG6HGI

There are recordings of Malmo, Oslo and Berlin currently available for download on Dime www.dimeadozen.org.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, Sligo is in Vine now, and from dime you can get Oslo, Malmo, and Berlin.

Salburg is available online (mp3) and it wa sgiven away in 15 copies by the taper; soon I will start Vine (I have to ask taper for permission; I expect to start it after our trip to St. Margarethen, which he will also record). The same taper taped Zagreb, recording isn't cleaned yet, but I hope for the Vine also.

Sligo 31 July 2010 Download Link Update

Post by remote1 »

You probably already know that the whole concert is available for free at: http://www.megaupload.com/?f=X3YG6HGI
This is the same recording as that being circulated on Foxwood's Vine and kindly offered to us by Duma.

The downloads option is proving popular. There have been roughly 600 song downloads in 6 days!

I should be able to upload corrected versions of "Waiting for the Miracle" and "Take this Waltz" next weekend, so that they are in one file only each (thanks to a Forum member who wishes to remain anonymous). I am hoping to upload one or two more concerts as well (Berlin by Duma, Oslo and/or Malmö, perhaps). Will let you know if/when that happens.

One important thing for those of you who also downloaded "Chelsea Hotel #2" and "A Thousand Kisses Deep": I have just discovered thanks to someone's query that these are from Sligo August 01 and were both transferred from YouTube clips. I have now removed them from Megaupload to avoid any confusion.

All best wishes

You're most welcome Sue7; I'm sure the upload was the easiest bit, even for someone who was doing this for the first time! ;-)

Zagreb is still processing (too loud audience). Will be out there one day soon.

We're going to St. Margarethen next Sunday, and in Croatia the vacation just finished three days ago, so there was no much time for the recording and its editing. But good news is that we can hope for the Sunday recording also:)

It's unfortunately mp3, his tape recorder. "banalny" from dimeadozen.org got the rough tapes in Krakow so let's wait what he thinks about the quality (he probably will put it to Dime if it's any good).

I am also not very pleased with the number of Cohen recordings, like nobody is following the shows and recording them. Our member who recorded Zagreb and Salzburg will take St. Margarethen and Ljubljana, and we can expect banalny's own dat recordings from Germany and Katowice I believe... I was happy when I saw that somebody recorded Sligo, Oslo (first incomplete, then another, complete version), Malmo and Berlin.
