I tried. I called on Friday, hoping to score an appointment on Monday 12th, the first day the Barbers are back in town, but now my weird standy-uppy frizzy distraction, will stay til Wednesday 14th April. I'm so glad you have no ego, there has to be a reason for your head-style.

hello michael. ego makes it difficult to respect superior people, so get rid of it and they will disappear too.

Geoffrey, I think you've found a unique storytelling LC niche 8)
.... but I reckon they should be called "Lenwrenisms" or maybe even better, "Cohwrenisms" because the "Co" also signifies a combination of both surnames plus a "collaboration" and a "co-operation" ;-)

i would like to offer sincere appreciation to michael for his often brilliant injections of verbal epinephrine to this somewhat comatose community. an unsocial personality, combined with little leisure time, frequently hinders me from writing an adequate response, but please know that this does not mean that my gratitude is any less.

while sitting before this keyboard, i would like also to thank beverly ('b4real') for her kind suggestions regarding the particular style of illustrations that i sometimes present. i feel flattered that my work - if one could call it that - should receive such attention, and with humility will receive any form of recognition as graciously as possible.

Obvs, we don't take your protestations of detestation seriously, but it's a rare, rare, example of guileful repetition that is not only not irritating but is, instead, enjoyable, not just not not not unenjoyable, but not not not not not not not anti-disenjoyable either. Even the thickest among you will follow my seasoning and applaud my pint.

The Great Artist,Wrenard Cohen himself might say

"Traveling lady, stay a bile
Until the Knight comes over
I'm just a detestation on your way
I know I'm not your liver".

Here, Wrenard herself references not only our recent Dear Olde Friend's splashy reappearance on this forum, but also references his unpublished song "Nurses", which recounts his famous meeting at the Chelsea Hotel, with Scot Joplin on April 1st 1917

"I met a woman long ago
His eyes the black that black can go
Are you an American composer and ragtime pianist?
Scot, he answered "yes" "

Solong

I got a thin green handle
To help me open your door
But the room just filled up with banditos
Who all wanted sex on the floor
