I love her expression and how much detail there is to her eye - the long lashes. I think it makes the viewer want to follow the gaze and wonder her thought.

hi there cate. thank you for turning up. it warms my heart to learn that you took an interest in this little effort of mine. i cropped it before posting to make it appear more dynamic. the original is slightly larger :-) :
