Downstairs

Postby Virginia » Wed Nov 05, 2008 1:44 am

Downstairs
he was all smiles to everyone.
Can I get you another drink?
Are you sure you wouldn't like some more to eat?
Can I get you anything at all?
You know you only have to say?

But I couldn't live downstairs,
not all the time.

Hi Virginia,

Because I've read this in context of your other poems the line
- He was smiles to everyone, is very creepy.
I imagine a man who can turn quickly from that nice guy.

Hi Virginia
I have been reading your poems as you submit them.
I find them intriguing.
It's like following a serialized story.
Do you mean for each to stand alone or might they eventually merge?
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.

Hi damellon,
they come out of the same series of experiences so heaven knows - they may be sections of one piece!

Hello Virginia.
Let the juices flow.
"Bipolar is a roller-coaster ride without a seat belt. One day you're flying with the fireworks; for the next month you're being scraped off the trolley" I said that.
