A lazy day in Eden

Post by mat james »

A lazy day in Eden
("before were was, I am")

...there were two trees
in that mind of Eden
one ploughed, you are mortal !
while the other seeded, you are eternal

and I photosynthesized
i am
i am

...this one's for Judy.

A lazy day in Eden
(A 3 word summary of old and new)

there were 2 Trees in the garden of Eden
one Tree shouted
I am mortal !
the other Tree whispered
I am eternal

and I echoed
...I am?

When Mat visits Edam, semi-hard, red paraffin wax, his love for Judy, relax, he gives her his red coat or rind, sometimes behind with affection, posters here on detection, this is a Big Roundabout from Walking Weekend Stalwart

there were 2 Threes in the Rule of Six
one Three shouted
I am chortle!
the other Three sniggered
I am Threetrunkle

and I Alexa-ed

A lazy day in Sweden

Post by solongleonard »

Noddy from Norway (https://burngoberrietvseries.fandom.com ... character))
artist from Aaslund
popped across the border
been on a late-night bender
cautioned to Sir Wrender
he took his pun and varnished.
I have cursed his name so often,
'cos he killed my wife and children
then he screwed my friends
And some of them I quite liked-
including an old woman on the helter-shelter,
who kept us hidden in the Garrick Club (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garrick_Club)
Then the solder ironing came
She died without a Wispa Bar (https://www.google.com/search?q=wispa+b ... dW2WptwL_M)
It was three in the morning (the beginning of April)
I'm the only one this evening
But I must go on
my front ears are my poison
Oh, the wind, my wind is blowing, (I do apologise)
Through the waves my wind is blowing (I think it's a reaction to the Wispa Bar)
no place like Holm (a village in the municipality of Bindal in Nordland county, Norway)
Wren goes into the nearest Swedish Convenience Store
asks for "a paintbrush, some spare dentures, and do you stockHolm?"
Boredom soon will come
Is Hank Marvin playing this week? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hank_Marvin)
Lead Guitarist of the shadows.

Thanks s’leonr’d for your jazz-a-dizzy response-therapy

being more vague than sharp
it took me awhile to untangle the ghost in your matter...

I appreciate your Buddha-response from that still point
awake amid the heedless
of a churning turning world.

below attempt at deciphering your post:
"...and so, solongleonard, I discern that...Noddy-ing off,
scratched and scraped by shards from this bard
you popped across the border of being
bee-buzzing on a late-night bender

…reflecting psuedo-pissedoffedly, cursing and cussing at and on Mat’s Mosaic-spartiate-reductionist meander
among the shade of 2 trees
...‘cause that lazy bastard MatbbgJ took his allegorical pun and vanished
And some of them I quite liked-!

but you, Mat, kept us hidden from purpose and meaning
so your poesy wilted, almost dying without a whisper

I'm the only one this evening bothering to untangle this
simpleton’s still point;
But I must go on...or must I.....?

Oh, my yhwh-wind is blowing through the waves; my eternal-wind is blowing through
your lazy Eden-shade-trees
to no place but

blind Boredom !!!

and yes! I too am almost asleep amid that writhing heedlessness,,,my bored & punch-drunk brain soon will over-come me…
so stop being so bloody cryptic, you antipoedean-dickwit
move on from your black-hole-oblique-offaling-about
or I will bother you no more with my
noddyingly-witty responses
............while you laze around in the Elane-shade...
of an eternally musing, burnning-bush;
wasn't it Sol who sang
"..oh ...for a burning bush !!! "?

kind regards,
solongleonard etc
(...sadly, I too was once a Solomony, Leonard-esque, neoplatonic, divine-maddened, traveling light- "flight of the alone to the Alone..." sortaguy...
but I too fell....I lost my way east of Eden...flaming swords and a forgotten, everlusting-Tree/bush; and all that god's-like-us-stufff...)"

No wonder then, solongleonard,
"A man needs a little madness
or he never dares cut the rope
and be free." (Kazantzakis' Zorba)

afterthought on The Two Of Us: by johnny k. eats.
"..and yet the sweet converse of an innocent mind
whose words are images
of thoughts refined
...is my soul's pleasure...and it sure must be the highest bliss of human kind when to thy haunts
(Oh solitude !)
2 kindred spirits and shaded saplings ........flee..."

Thanks for noddying in ...and on...Mike.

What the serpent said to Eve
one idle day in Eden

Your little burning bush
pisses all over
that everlasting tree

you are the apple
of Adam's eye
or so it seems to me

eat this miss miss
eat this hiss hiss
...forget eternity!

she fell...
for it
and so did we

Typically, a man would rise at 7 0'clock
except on Thursdays when this may be extended to 10 past 7!
A woman, by contrast,
can rise as early as 10 minutes to 7!!
On a lazy day in Sweden, such as a "birthing day" the Swede will take an hourly break every single hour.
Leonard Cohen never went on record
to express a view on this.
When publicly asked he refused to answer but made love to the reporter
He explained, "this is what I do".
He was also married to Marianne, a most famous Swede (until she died
and changed her name and became Norwegian as a secret joke.)

Seasons Greetings to you too, M.
Thanks for thinking of me, here, " lost among the Lilies ".
Lazy lilies at that.
Leonard is not gone...he is Pythagoreanly spiralling on...
...more lazy days in Eden, for all of us.

oh Geoffrey you are so twentyacious so indefatiGable. I am surely not the first person to describe you thus. Many have used the weaker description of you as tenacious but they underrate the effort you put into your writing. We know it don't come easy for you. Your gift lies elsewhere. Other art forms you find easel. The iGnorati think you are simply an osteopath and a fatGitable.

No! After that charming Norwegian TV interviewer of Leonard, and after the beautiful Norwegian Journalist you introduced me to a few years back, you are right up there on the podium!

I am an irritable old git these days, in great contrast to the irritable younger git I used to be but this is a lovely little corner of the Internet and Happy New Year to every damn one of you
