Appreciate your posting this link Mat and Ruth for the video clip. What a lovely video it is. What he says at the end is so true.

Just watched it and loved seeing it again... thank you so much, Mat. Posted it as my Status on Facebook, as well.

Leonard has such a strong [impermeable?] sense of self in this and many other videos.

I love the reading, the pictures, the song and the post discussion!
Wow all around – especially the reading.

Also, I missed it before but I also liked the notebook drawing posted by be4real – lovely.

Hi All,
I forgot to thank/acknowledge "messalina79" for creating that wonderful clip.
I noticed that she has been busy creating/compiling many, many more!!!
Who is this wonderful and talented Cohen fan?
And where does she access all that "Leonard stuff"?

Thanks, Mat. It is a great clip, and a wonderful performance.
It comes from Harry Rasky's film "The Song of Leonard Cohen" (1980, I think).
Messalina79 is on the forum as well as a great presence on Youtube, with a different name.

You're quite welcome Mat. I asked the same question some time ago because the quality of her concert videos were so good (on par with Albert's) plus the choices Ruth makes when posting video clips from interviews, etc. are so exceptional.

So long Marianne is one of my favorite songs. I am sure Leonard still loves Marianne. She was so very beautiful, and living in such an enchanting place, who would not have been happy and in love with her and life.

I want to thank Messalina79 for posting 'Greensleeves'. I have never heard him sing this before and that song always makes me very homesick. Thank you Ruth.
