Eija & I arrived safely yesterday. We've already been to Roloi
and met Nikolas - who also is looking forward to seeing everybody.
We use Roloi as a meeting point (7 pm every night starting on Tuesday)!

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO PIRAEUS, UPDATE:
At the airport, go out and follow signs "To Trains".
Buy a metro ticket to Piraeus (5 euros per person)
Take Line 3 (Blue Line) to the terminal station MONASTIRAKI
At that station, take Line 1 (Green Line), go to the terminal station PIRAEUS.
In Piraeus, use the main exit, and turn to left. Go some hundred meters until you are in the front of a very tall house, covered by a huge red advertisement. Go over the street and you have found the Dolphins.
We used the 17.30 departure (about 37 euros for the return ticket) which took about 2 hours (frist stop at Poros, next Hydra)

The weather is splendid (25-28 Centigrade, water about 23 Centrigrade).

Don't forget that the trains don't run through the night. If you would rather give the dubious charms of the city a complete miss like me and are arriving in the small hours then the Piraeus bus (X96) stop is right outside the arrivals entrance. This bus runs right through the night at about half hour intervals Buy your 2:90 euro ticket at the kiosk and then validate it in the machine on the bus. This bus will take you straight to the harbour in an hour or an hour and a half depending on the time of day.
