Re: Leonard Cohen and "Hallelujuh" Cover at 'Hope for Haiti Now'
As most people know I do not like covers of Hallelujah with the exception of Jeff Buckley. However this gave me goosebumps and it is good to see it being used in such a positive way to help people in dire need. I felt JT gave the song the respect it deserved and I hope it goes on to make lots of mon...

Or you could always get the poster that was made for Leonards birthday printed. I got it printed to A3 size and it looks brilliant!

Happy New year and decade one and all Fab picture Jarkko! It was 'trying' to snow here earlier but along came the Sun and a couple of minutes later our snow was gone. In its place we now have some severe frost!

Re: Sir Paul McCartney
Ok people lets get one thing straight. I only said that Maccas gig was on a par with Leonards which it was and I will stand be that as I'm comparing 2 gigs within 6 months as each other in the same venue and I cannot chose between them. However a choice between them gigs aside I would pick Leonard h...

Sir Paul McCartney
I was at Paul McCartney's gig on Sunday night at The O2 Arena Dublin and I must say that this gig was simply amazing and most definately on a par with Leonards gigs in the summer. As a lover of all things Beatles it was a dream of mine to see him in concert and I wasn't to be disappointed. My review...

Re: Sleeping with Leonard
Lilifyre, it's good to know I'm not alone with this 'condition' :D There is NOTHING worse that not getting sleep on a Sunday night. The body needs rest to get ready for another week of work or whatever. I'll take note and avoid Echoes at night time too :D LEONKA I'm not sure my mp3 has a facility to...

Re: Liam Clancy
RIP. I can't confess to knowing much about him but he is widely regarded in the folk music scene with Bob Dylan having said he was an early influence.
Love that poem Bequia. Patrick Kavanagh is one of my favourite poets.

Re: Annual Playboy Music Poll
I just voted. It will be a close call between Leonard, Brucie and U2 I'd say. Having being lucky enough to have seen all 3 in concert in the space of 2 weeks in July this year all are deserving winners but for me it has to be Leonard as he was just magical.

Re: Sleeping with Leonard
musicmania rather listen to No Way To Say Goodbye and Take This Waltz, Go No More. If you can not sleep, then dancing with Leonard. :D ;-) I would have my mp3 player with Leonards songs on shuffle and therefore not know what was coming next. Each song song would be a pleasant surprise and I'd get m...

Re: Sleeping with Leonard
I have often fell asleep listening to Leonards music. However I had to stop listening that late because if I fell asleep before Hallelujah came on I'd wake up singing along to it and then be wide awake for hours after!!!!
