You certainly are very close to the top of my friends here, Geoffrey.

Best wishes,

Re: ADAM COHEN, ET AL. VS ROBERT B. KORY, ET AL. - Another managerial betrayal?

for those involved it is surely an important matter, yet does not really affect the admiration one may hold for the legacy he left behind. Well said, Geoffrey. The crumbs of love that you offer me They're the crumbs I've left behind I, for one, am glad that he left all those crumbs behind. I listen...

Re: never-ending gallery

Hi Geoffrey,

This most recent self portrait is magnificent, your eyes say so much.
I would say it is good news that it is in print.

Keep posting, best wishes,

Alan

Re: Suzanne - Usha Uthup (Iyer)

Remember what the dormouse said: "Feed your head, feed your head." This can be done emotionally rather than chemically. I agree with your comments, Lisa, other than the adjective. I would have written mind altering drugs rather than illicit drugs . My philosophy is that you can put whateve...

Re: Suzanne - Usha Uthup (Iyer)

Hi Lisa, I can't say I hear the similarity, but I do like her voice and the conviction with which she sings. BTW re White Rabbit, have you heard the isolated vocal track? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbrsjurXljk There are a few postings on a variety of sites. It has been one of my favourite non-L...

Re: never-ending gallery

Hi Geoffrey,
I am amazed that you can incorporate all these colours that are not part of the human spectrum and yet make the picture look so real. I love it.

Re: never-ending gallery

Hi Geoffrey, My comment was intended to be whimsical rather than sarcastic. There is an expression in this country along the lines of: "If he weren't so modest, he would be perfect". I was feeding off that, in an attempt at humour. I also appreciate sarcasm, but it was not intended in this...

Re: never-ending gallery

you can see just by looking at me that i have been blessed with nice features, a calm aura exuding an undeniable warmth, plus a tiny hint of playful mischievousness, perhaps. little wonder people flock to me and adore being in my presence. i think only a very hard and frigid person could not recogn...

Re: Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song,” Daniel Geller and Dayna Goldfine

I just found out today that there will be a showing in Adelaide on Thursday 8th September at the Palace Nova cinema, starting at 7 pm. I have bought my tickets, so I am really excited.

Re: Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song,” Daniel Geller and Dayna Goldfine

It looks like this will not be coming to a movie theatre near me, so this is great news.
However, I can't access the website to pre-order without giving permission to be bombarded by pesky adverts and have my personal details sold to others.
Is there an alternate vendor?

Re: a lot of activity

very nice indeed. from a distance it looks like a spaceship hovering above the ground, but the truth is revealed as one gets closer. is there a special reason why you prefer boxed canvas instead of a suitable glass frame with passepartout for your photographs? what do you think would have happened ...

Re: a lot of activity

I finally (?) decided where I could hang the canvas print of the photo of the island off Hydra. I collected it yesterday and am very happy with how it turned out. Island canvas.jpg Of course when I got it home I changed my mind (or more accurately, my wife made a better, logical suggestion) so it is...

Re: never-ending gallery

Thank you, Geoffrey.
I must say the ending of the video surprised me too.

Same song, played on piano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELTUzU9QhLY
It is one of my favourite non-Leonard songs.
