hi soreloser (sorry for addressing you a loser, but it was your own choice), i don't think it's odd that complete focus and meditation on the Self (Being!!!) is seen as the way to achieve this end (non-being). it's a drill common to self-hypnoses in the west and medditation in the east: if you're tr...

hi again, what tom's 'on about' is as follows: There is an actual Boogie Street in the world. It's in Singapore. I don't know if it's still there. I was coming home from a tour of Australia many years ago and during the day Boogie Street is a scene of intense commercial activity. In fact, there's a ...

khhh, khhh, i know i'm ignorant (dumb?), but i don't know what ( sic ) means, so it's hard to understand the former argument. i know it's wrong place to ask, but... please fill me in on this. now, about the song ... i have different idea of this poem (or poem as some of us feel) than mr. Danielsen (...

i've met Tom Sakic yesterday, and he pointed out how many people seem to be dissatisfied with sound of ten new songs, unlike both of us. that's when i decided to reply to this post. i think that this is the best sounding studio recording of leonard cohen ever! the fact is that backing sounds are as ...

OK, I've voted yes (why not, it's not hard), and I'd realy like it that you can enjoy Leonard in better sound, but I'm not going to purchase it. Sorry. As partisan put it: I'm a lyrics kind of guy. Besides, I don't have good enough HI-FI for it to matter. Then again, buying everything new... That's ...

thanx

Thank you all for reading material as long as this, and for all complements (even for my command of English language? - it's not my mother tongue, but I've been learning it ever since 4th grade and haven't stopped yet), and I hope I'll encourage more discussions of this kind. The more ways we find p...
