not realy important, but i felt i should mention, lyzzytysh wrote: Jurica makes an excellent point about cheap jokes.....after all, we are as likely to be born as to die; and as likely to die as to be born. Death should be exempt from puns? Your cheap joke should be better, more acceptable, than min...

for G-d's sake, Pown, people get killed every day. Thousands of them. You can read about it in just about any newspapers. You can even learn it is partly your fault too from such magazines like Z-magazine... so why not make fun of it? life is of little value today. so cheap jokes about death are as ...

It also crossed my mind that this might have something to do with drugs ( Metallica had a song named Master of Puppets about drugs addiction), but lightning's right: too many sex references. However, althought I think this is more or less straight forward love story about a woman leaving with anothe...

i've always figured Jane was the girlfriend of the I-character, who engaged in secret relationship with his best friend. his friend was madly in love with her, and she planned to leave the I-character for him. i think that's what to go clear means here - to tell her boyfriend that he has someone els...

Well, I found a silver needle,
I put it into my arm.
It did some good,
did some harm.
But the nights were cold
and it almost kept me warm,
how come the night is long?

hi, i think you can do no harm to any novel even by making a bad movie based on it. it don't change the text itself. one of the greatest graphical novels i've ever read was From Hell by Alan Moore, and they made a movie from it... Well, having previously read the comic, i didn't want to watch the mo...

you are both right about this JF. when i read something like the blind misleading the blind , i dissagree as default, but after reading the essay... you are right about one of them being blind (JF). she insists that three people must have something to do with Holy Trinity, which needn't be the case....

if i remember well, leonard said in an interview that he don't remember who he wrote this song about. the brother is not really a brother, i think. it's a good friend. lili marlene is a character from german song of the same name. the rest should be obvious if you listen to the lyrics. it's all there.

i think they made Rufus sing another version because they needed it shorter (he doesn't sing all lyrics from both versions like Cale), and because they needed some lyrics out, so it would be sutable for kids ('remember when i moved in you and holy dove was moving too' for example).

why not preform in a concert hall somewhere, sitting in a chair with a book of poems in a hand. reading a poem or two, then singing one. it needn't be a pop concert, more of a poetry event. he might even have a filharmony behind him preforming his songs, if he hasn't got a voice to sing them any mor...
