Re: Mysterious Leonard Cohen "1967 studio sessions" album - any information?
Excellent, Weilin :D So good to have a hard copy to refer to on the Forum! The info in your link is more concise that in the link I posted from the first page here - well done! Btw - those two entries with the “cool” smilies are actually the number 8. That happens sometimes when copying to or from ...

Re: Mysterious Leonard Cohen "1967 studio sessions" album - any information?
Here is what I found 2 or 3 years ago. On a lyrics site, the listing of this 1967 boxset concludes 10 CDs and every track. https://www.musixmatch.com/artist/Leonard-Cohen/albums I've managed to get all track listing and put them here for backup and your reference. CD1 - 1967 Studio Recordings (May &...

Re: The Bells
Thanks for the link, Beverly. I haven't seen this thread and it's great to learn that the mysterious box set is a popular problem. I'm going to join you guys in that discussion.

Re: The Bells
Thanks for connecting the dots, Beverly. Much appreciated. I remember, like 3 years ago, there was a 10CD set called 1967 including all takes of LC's first album. There's only online listing and info but you couldn't purchase or stream. This boxset should include the bells and jewels in your shoulde...

Re: The Bells
I like this song very much. Hope somewhere in the world there is a Lenny-sung version. The Bells I'm writing this to say goodbye To what you never should reply That all of the Lords and Demons that you leave I stand entirely alone That is to say your loving me Would be our only crime And isn't it a ...

Re: Is this Suzanne Verdal?
The only digital copy (.epub) I managed to get is a 2014 "Faithfull" edition. I've counted 95 images inside the book (64 photos, 30 cover arts, 1 poster) & 83 entries in the "Picture Credits" section. Therefore, I tend to think that might be quite an accurate copy of the boo...

Re: Is this Suzanne Verdal?
Helsinki City Library has one copy of the book. It was now on loan but I made a reservation. Will scan the pages about Suzanne for you when I’ve got the book. Thank you a million, Jarkko. There are two editions of this book. The first edition (Chicago Review Press, 2011) has that Verdal? photo. The...

Is this Suzanne Verdal?
I came across a book called The Girl in the Song: The True Stories Behind 50 Rock Classics. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8677245-the-girl-in-the-song https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51ZyUOGlNGL._SX337_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg some internet articles claim, based on this book's des...

Re: New CD
Thanks Goldin for those info. I compared this to the previous 3CD eidition. It seems this new 2CD version has cutted down a bit audience applause and a 36min interview. 3CD version https://ace-bootlegs.com/wp-content/uploads/BOOTLEGS%20ARTWORK/COHEN%20(LEONARD)/1988-06-24-REYKJAVIK-front.jpg https:/...

Re: Glastonbury 2008
https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/bbc-reveals-broadcast-plans-for-glastonburys-50th-anniversary-weekend/ BBC is going to rerun some classic sets to celebrate the missing 50th anniversary of Glastonbury. Sadly there is no LC's 2008 set on the rebroadcast list. I was there at the first row and th...
