Re: O2 September show etickets

Definitively nothing to worry about - just got this email from AXS: Hi Paul, Thanks for the e-mail E-tickets will arrive 7-10 days before the event. I am sorry if your confirmation email started otherwise - this would have been a mistake. If your tickets have not arrived a week before the show, plea...

Re: LONDON (June 21, 2013) NOW ON SALE

I changed mine so I pick them up at the venue - although they say they will not be available before 1830 - but at least that is better than not knowing if they would arrive before I set off! Leaving tickets to be delivered until a month or so before is OK but this is, frankly, ridiculous - especiall...

Re: O2 September show etickets

Hi Paul, Good question. I also opted for the etickets & haven't received the email yet. I was also surprised, because in the past, etickets that one can print out have been sent immediately after the purchase was made. The axs website said that tickets would be sent (or emailed? I don't remember th...

O2 September show etickets

I was delighted to be able to opt for the eticket option for the O2 show in September -- not least because the tickets for the O2 show in June have still not arrived. My question is - did anyone else who opted for etickets receive the email link for them yet --- I haven't and am a bit worried it mig...

Re: PRESALE TO THE UK SHOWS

Third row central London O2 .. dare I say even a fairly user friendly system! Thanks Jarkko as ever!!!! Someone should tell AEG though that in view of wanting the venues kept quiet for a while, it might not be best to have a big Facebook logo saying "tell your friends on facebook you are going" on e...

Re: Madrid, Lisbon

If you check the other threads, even only the "Next Presales" thread, you should be able to make a quite good guess on which contry the thursday presale will be for. Good luck! Here are some clues: 1) It has a Queen but you wouldn't know it from the name 2) It is very divided but you wouldn't know ...

Re: Next Presales on Wednesday, May 22

Remind me what to do when the presale tickets go on sale. Is the link on this page and does it take me straight to ticketmaster? Thanks Yes, the link will appear under Pre-Sale Links and Passwords - you have to be registered and logged in to see the link - and it will take you to whoever is handlin...

Re: Sad news: Arlene Dick has passed away

Each and everyone of us here has been touched by Arlene in so many ways. She will remain in our hearts forever. Her devoted, respectful, tenacious, determined, caring and thoughtful love of Leonard Cohen and his work was so clear in everything she wrote, every video she posted, every event she atten...

Re: Is it becoming slightly stale?

The shows these days are almost by necessity formulaic. Inevitably the set will be structured around Leonard's most commercially appealing albums - I'm Your Man, The Future, Various Positions, and Ten New Songs - peppered with the earliest classics and a few other live certs. This is probably just ...

Re: Is it becoming slightly stale?

I suppose that instead of singing and playing their socks off for over 3 hours every night, each show could last about 75 minutes, with one encore. We would even get to see a support act then! This is far more the norm these days anyway. Such a shorter set would allow for big changes in the set list...

Re: STOCKHOLM (Aug 15), PRESALE Feb 27

Anyone knows if it's ok to bring a digital SLR with a big "professionally looking" lense to the event? The market is now such that there is a big difference between professional digital SLRs and some which resemble the better compact cameras. It is also possible to turn the sound off on some. I rec...
