Re: Manchester shows

Sounds like it was all a bit mad for the Manchester tickets! I lined up at 8.30am this morning at my local ticket shop (Ripping Records) in Edinburgh. I was 5th in line, yes, only 4 in front of me! They opened at 8.45, about 30mins early which was nice, and I got 2 tickets for the front. Edinburgh C...

Either hugely fat or have 5 friends who also like Leonard Cohen enough to pay £55 to see him (unlikely) or hoping to make some money!

Re: Ripping Records - Edinburgh

Got the last 2 tickets for the middle front section!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow enough of my gloating, just to let you know that they only had a handful of front section tickets but the have a good few (couple of hundred anyway, by the look of the pile they had) for the seats in the stands to either side of ...

Re: Edinburgh Castle

I waited outside Ripping Records in Edinburgh this morning from about 8am. Bought 2 in front of stage, X1 it says, row U. Sounds good to me... Suprised to read on this forum so many buying 6 or 8 tickets. Unless in error, I bet they'll tout them on! I've got a big family/social circle/friends etc bu...

Re: Edinburgh Castle, July 16

Edinburgh Castle will be a great venue for LC, and far superior to O2, for me anyway. It holds about 8000 and can be a mix of standing/seated depending on the gig. If you want to see some of the seating possibilities then go to ticketsmaster and search on The Proclaimers, Runrig, Lou Reed, Girls Alo...
