Re: Cardiff 8 November

Did anyone at Cardiff notice the show being filmed? I'm curious now whether this was unique to Glasgow, shared with all other concerts at the moment, or shared only with select others.

Re: Glasgow, November 5-6

I really should be in bed asleep, but two further points you may be interested in: (1) tonight Leonard played two different guitars (not at the same time). A black one in the first and second sets and a brown one for Famous Blue Raincoat in the encores. Same make. Whether they were the same model I ...

Re: Wot, no 'A Thousand Kisses Deep' ......

Leonard re-included this tonight (6 Nov) in Glasgow! It seemed to me that, at the end of a terrific Hallelujah and I'm Your Man, Leonard was suddenly struck by the mood for something different before Take this Waltz. Above the applause for I'm Your Man he twice shouted the single word "Poem!" across...

Re: Glasgow, November 5-6

Just back from another knock-out performance. Very similar to the previous night. Some changes to the setlist, and a less formulaic feel to the opening half hour, I felt. Bird on the Wire and In My Secret Life were particularly good tonight, within that sequence. Changes to setlist from the previous...

Re: Glasgow, November 5-6

Two other things I noticed. The stage is covered with carpets/rugs. And, at the end, with the crowd pleading for more, Leonard looked at his watch and said that he'd love to play on, but "well, I'm a union man...". Glasgow, which has always been a union town, loved that!

CONCERT REPORTS: Glasgow, November 5 and 6

First, welcome Leonard, members of the band, members of the crew, and everyone else. Welcome back to the UK. One of the emotional heartlands of the 2008 tour(s). Welcome. I'm just back home from tonight's concert in Glasgow. My fourth of the tour. My fifth will be tomorrow night, but that will be sp...

Re: Find, sell or swap Fall Tour tickets here

I have one good ticket available for Wednesday's show in Glasgow (5 Nov). Circle, V 38. That's nice and central, and on an aisle I think. Face value £65. Will sell for £50. PM me if interested. Thanks.

Re: BRILLIANT GLASGOW TICKETS

Imagine (for one dark moment) that McCain wins this week. Or, worse, that he steals it in true George W style. Will Leonard still sing "democracy is coming to the USA" in Glasgow on Wednesday and Thursday? I for one would love it if, in these circumstances, he were to start the song but abandon it h...

Glasgow, November 5 & 6

As posted elsewhere, great tickets are currently (Sat 1 Nov) on sale for both nights - rows E & F of the front stalls, and central - directly from the SECC ticketing website. Don't miss out if you were too late when the shows "sold out" in July.

Re: BRILLIANT GLASGOW TICKETS

I have just checked and fantastic, central seats in rows E and F of the front stalls are still available for both nights in Glasgow next week. This is directly from the SECC ticketing website - whether you can get similar deals via ticketmaster I do not know.

Re: BRILLIANT GLASGOW TICKETS

Thank you so much for this. I've just massively upgraded, from right at the back to right at the front. What a coup!
