Re: CONCERT REPORT: San Diego, April 7

What a show! I think San Diego audiences are a bit more subdued than those in other cities, but in the second half of the show the audience really got into it. Leonard spoke very little in the first half - in fact, I think he performed the first 7 or 8 songs without speaking once. Is this the norm f...

Re: Los Angeles "Friends and Family" password.

Nice work ursus. For the L.A. concert the seats are a few rows better than the AM Ex seats were, but not much, so I'll try again Saturday morning.

Interesting that Leonard was 37 at the time in 1972, exactly half his current age.

Re: Recent uploads on You Tube, Bird on a Wire 72.

I've never seen these before. Very interesting. Seems like a concert in Israel. I think that the guy in the yellow shirt and beard is the legendary producer Bob Johnstone. I read an article by him a while back in which he said that he and LC were on LSD for much of this tour.

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members

Surfergirl: What seating row etc. did you get on Am-Ex for LA? The best I could get was row CC near the center.

Nice article. So much better than the one in the New York Times.

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members

Jarkko: There seems to be a problem with the San Diego concert. The itinerary lists Ticketmaster as the seller, but on Ticketmaster's site, there is no reference to the San Diego concert. All the other scheduled LC concerts are listed. Is San Diego possibly a Live Nation venue? Thanks for all of you...

Re: The North American Tour

Bob - I assume in Europe you would have to wait until the equivalent of 10:00 am in Phoenix (i.e. noon in New York, and, I think, 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm in most of Europe) before you could use the password to buy tickets for the Phoenix show.

Re: The North American Tour

I think by "local time" they mean the local time at the paticular concert venue, not the local time of each potential ticket purchaser. So, for example,at 10:00 am EST, the time in Phoenix is 8:00 am, so there will be a two hour wait after you get the password before you can buy tickets for the Phoe...

Re: Manchester, UK (June 17-20)

Adex, Absolutely magnificent! The best item by far on the 2008-09 tour thread thus far. I last saw L.C. in Los Angeles at the Wiltern some 16 years ago, and am praying that the tour is extended to include U.S. dates (and based on the reaction so far, I'm optimistic), but your review was the next bes...
