There also was an article on Leonard in the same edition. You can find the link to both scanned-in articles from the actual newspaper here, if you are interested - Greg has posted it as a "public" album (i.e. you can see it even if you don't have an account) on his Facebook page: http://www.leonardc...

A LC Hint For People Near Duesseldorf

(Specia...

Another "Bird On The Wire" video - from a slightly different perspective than Albert's and much less "professional" (I think it is ok for me to say so, as I recorded it! ;-) ):

Re: Krakow lost property

Hello, on the Thursday night dance i lost a piece of bread. It was brown and had butter on one side, and answered to the name of Stuart. I wonder if organising committee had this handed in. If anyone found this i can supply my home address for you to forward. No questions asked of the thief who too...

Re: using leonard's music for romantic success

You know, I can only speak for myself, but "Suzanne" works wonderfully well! AND "I'm Your Man" does for me, too, although the woman in question might then decide she'd prefer Leonard himself... ;-)

Yes, the "Doors Concerto" is absolutely amazing, the whole CD is brilliant... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ewWNNROWlU There is also a very nice version of "The Lark Ascending" by him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1w4N-NL_Bw (only the first part, but there is a link to the second part, too) And...

Re: Music You're Listening To

Well, I have to admit I haven't even listened to the album, but this is what fellow-LC forum member Greg Ross is listening to (don't think he will post here right now for a shere lack of time at the moment!) and what he has said about this recently released album on Facebook: "The new Renee Fleming ...

Re: Leonard Cohen Fans ... An Anthropological Journey!

Thanks for the cartoon. Despite the age progression, are we not nourished and alive because of the LC context, (sans the sexist beard) ? leonard from Montreal Leonard, I agree about hte "nourished and alive" - bit (semms to go for LC himself too, in a way!), BUT - sexist or not, I am quite glad act...

Re: Leonard Cohen Fans ... An Anthropological Journey!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful little cartoon, Greg (and as it doesn't start before the seventies, I somehow can relate to it personally, too)! We've got it here as well, by the way (with Forum member comments):
