Re: OLD IDEAS - THE PRESS RELEASE

Delighted that all the work has now been done on the Album (with the exception of marketing). I am looking forward now, so much to the release date 31/01/1012. Like John earlier I am prepared to wait for the album and hope that were are not drip fed clips between this and then. I was very pleased to...

Re: Eric Burdon's version of "In My Secret Life"

I am a big fan of Eric Burdon and, of course, the Animals in the 60's. Had no idea he recorded this one. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for posting.

Re: Who (or what) introduced you to Leonard Cohen?

Very simple. I got casette tape from a colleague in work back in the early 70's. I think it was Songs From A Room and my admiration for Leonard and his work has carried on with me through the years. Have been fortunate to see him perform live on two occasions both times in Dublin in 2008 and 2009. T...

Re: Next tour?

hmm "there are now no plans for a tour" - I wonder were there plans that have now been abandoned OR no plans as we speak but may be in the future. As I have already posted elsewhere given that Leonard did not have a tour this year I think it is fair to say that, given his age and this must be consid...

Re: The Forum and Facebook

I joined the Forum only in 2010 and I joined face book in that year as well. While I have been a fan of Leonard Cohen for 40 years. Now I am only trying to find my way around the Forum and have not, as yet, contributed anything of note or consequence to it. I think for a true Leonard Cohen fan it is...

Re: Who (or what) introduced you to Leonard Cohen?

Got the loan of a casette of Leonard's years ago from a work colleague. I think it was Songs from a Room. I stepped in that day and am there still. He allowed me keep the casette as well, as I remember. I have loved Leonard music from the early days. :D There is a crack in everything - that's how th...
