If they were - then - are they the words of the prophets discussed on Wednesday morning at about 3 am?
I'm just wondering how crowded it has become and whether or not the wall needs another brick (for extra writing space).

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEONARD!

Happy Birthday Mr. Cohen - Live long and prosper. I thought, perhaps, I might take the opportunity to provide a musical travelogue for the next stop of the tour, for those unfamiliar with it. Back in the fifties, The Four Lads (from Toronto) were offering this bit of history about Istanbul (youtube)

Re: Dino Soldo not in the tour band

And having said all of that I really feel for Dino who had to accept being stood down at the last moment. I'm sure that it was a huge blow. It may have been a blow - but I can't help thinking that gigs like the 3 yr. well organized tour, which he helped bring about, are a rare thing in the business...

Re: Random LC moment I am adoring today

One of our choices for 2 credits each, 90% of the time, is The Drifters rendition of 'Save the Last Dance for Me'. To see that this is an LC choice for an encore - HEAVEN! THANK YOU LC!!!!!!! On an only slightly related moment -- the album A Song For My Father , which includes Adam Cohen, also incl...

The old improv where LC teaches the audiance to sing:
No, it wasn't any good - there's no reason why you should, remember me

Re: LC and the Yom Kippur war , 1973

re: your comment that "I" am suggesting LC went to Havana to spy for JFK who did not get along with the CIA or Allen Dulles... I don't think LC particularly liked the Kennedys, but he would have known Dulles from those secret mind control programs at McGill and Columbia. :) The vagaries of language...

Re: LC and the Yom Kippur war , 1973

I apologize for forgetting how diverse and international this board can be. I got a question the other day from someone who wanted to know what I meant by alphabet soup. It is a reference to old humour about the many agencies which were proliferating within the US government -- the phrase is still u...

Re: LC and the Yom Kippur war , 1973

Of course the real question is: was this war really necessary, or was it orchestrated in Washington/Cairo/Tel Aviv. In which case you might also ask why LC arrived "a few days" ahead of the "surprise attack" (according to Ira Nadel's biography, quoted by Doron Cohen). For the conspiracy theorists w...
