Re: working with leonard cohen
Interesting discussion, nice to see! Of course Leonard wasn't perfect, but is there a sense of bitterness to what Jennifer was saying? Did she voice these opinions when he was still alive? Not the ones about the lyric changes, but the other ones? Of course she is entitled to her opinion, but I prefe...

Re: Will there be posthumous disc?
More Memories from The Grand Tour would be most welcome. A Singer Must Die was sang in Lissadell, and Vegas. Also the often performed version of Feels So Good from Katowice was exceptional too. Just 2 songs I remember been performed that never made it on the live records released. Does anyone know i...

Re: My Dream "Songs of Leonard Cohen" Concert
By the way MM, many French believe Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah was written by him as well. Well I prefer that to the people who think it was written for Alexandra Burke on the X Factor  I know I was late coming to Leonard, due to being born too late, but I am forever grateful I disco...

Re: Can anyone confirm a 1940s school kid signature of LC?
I'm no expert by any means, but I've witnessed Leonard signing stuff many times, and I can see traits of his writing in here. His signature did vary, so I'd like to think it is real. I could be proved wrong, but until that is the case I'd take this at face value!

Re: My Dream "Songs of Leonard Cohen" Concert
I've considered most, if not all the subsequent covers to be covers of John Cale's version. None remotely like Leonard, but for that I am grateful. I do like Jeff Buckley's though. It was his that introduced me to Leonard. That moment I first heard it forever etched in my soul. An immediate need to ...

Re: My Dream "Songs of Leonard Cohen" Concert
Great idea. Was Bob Dylan not the first to cover Hallelujah?
Personally I'd have KD Lang sing that song.
