Re: Leonard Cohen turns down GLEE TV series
Thank God for that. There are way to many dodgy covers of Leonards songs already without the cast of Glee butchering them any further. I'm sick of hearing their renditions of wonderful songs. Radio stations seem incapable of playing originals any more!

Re: Leonard for Ireland?
I presume the promoters are anxious to announce all the Lissadell House concerts at the same time. It will be interesting to see if there is place for a 2nd Leonard Cohen concert. Be prepared to bring your kids for a Westlife concert on one of the days. They've been trying to find a local venue for...

Re: PRESALE TO SLIGO on APRIL 22
I've just booked my accomodation for the night before and the night of the gig at this place http://www.lissadellfarmhouse.com/index.php
Ideal location and an absolute bargain at €38 per person per night! Bet they will regret that price!

Re: Who likes Stevie Nicks???
I love all of Fleetwood Macs music. I saw them in concert last year and it was brilliant. Stevie looked and sounded amazing. Here is a link to my photos from the gig. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... a778a922fd

Re: Leonard for Ireland?
If the Sligo events go ahead it will be August bank holiday weekend and July 31st is the only date listed that fits into the weekend so I'm keeping my fingers crossedrpan wrote:Could this be July 31st?? 4 days each side looks promising... probably not though!

Re: Leonard for Ireland?
I'm tempted to book this place for accomodation just in case. It is straight across the road and at €38 a night is a steal. Plus they don't accept credit cards so no deposit required and could just cancel if the weekend doesn't go ahead. Would I be tempting faith if I did book though??? :?: http://r...
