Re: Coachella Valley Festival Tickets

I have not gone to this specific festival, but have gone to other festivals including those by this sponsor. No, it is not just 3 or 4 songs, but it is also not the whole concert either. Generally, where a musician is on the line up and what stage he/she is on determines length of time. I think Leon...

Re: subterranean pit seat blues

I haven't had pit seats in NY, but have at many venues in Los Angeles. The pit actually means different things depending on the venue, but for those that are generally lowered down, yes, it is made orchestra level. I have NEVER had any problems craning my neck for being too close. That might be the ...

Re: How did you do at the general sale to NY and LA?

Thanks for asking. I tried for Sat. in L.A. and was unable to get any of the pit tickets (are they holding these back?!?) and closest "best available" was "O" in Orchestra -- and that is right at 10 a.m. I thereafter checked other options, and even with VIP (very iiii pricey), closest is row "G", so...

Re: Extra shows in New York and Los Angeles now announced

Hmm, when I went on, the password was NOT case sensitve. However, I agree, there were no pit seats available and my Amex tickets (row D vs. row W) were infinitely better. I am still grateful for having the password and the opportunity to purchase tickets, so thanks Jarkko!

Re: Los Angeles "Friends and Family" password.

I will confess I tried exactly the same thing as you, but without success. First, I want to thank you so much for figuring it out! Second, I am bummed that as of the time I viewed this (just now), the tickets available were not as good as the ones I purchased through the AMEX. Ah, if I only had that...

Re: Fifth extra show?

I've seen that in various places, but it's not yet showing up on Nokia's website, although there's nothing else that conflicts with that date. I have a friend who works for AEG who confirmed it's reserved in case the first show sells out. Based on the AMEX pre-sale, which has virtually cleaned up th...

Re: Got my L.A. Nokia Tickets!

I seem to recall it being too small a venue for video screens. I have extras, remind me and I'll let you borrow a pair.

Re: Got my L.A. Nokia Tickets!

Yea Bridger! Yes, I've been to the Nokia several times, and you will be in the center (best accoustics of course!) about 1/2 way back in the orchestra section. Since it's a relatively small venue, and the seats are very comfy, you will be happy. Having said that, DO bring your binoculars -- the only...

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members

Yentek, I got row D, right center, with seats closer to the center aisle. That's 4th row in the orchestra, or if you count the 6 rows of pit seats, that's the 10th row. Considering there's 30 rows in the orchestra section, I am very happy!

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members

I'm quite happy with my AMEX pre-sale tickets for L.A.. I used the regular AMEX (vs. gold card preferred seating with password), but in checking the location of the preferred seating and regular AMEX seating, they were exactly the same. Of course, I didn't mess around with doing all this seat checki...

And it's the only venue where you can still by ONE VIP ticket. . . .
